Fair enough, and it's always a personal choice as to what you do with your own bike
Over the years on this forum a lot of stuff has been posted about Hilltop. The detractors (most of whom have never been) views have included; it's all faked, it can be seen by dealers and will invalidate your warranty, you won't get insurance, your engine will explode within a few thousand miles, the emissions will kill children, it will all get wiped by a dealer software upgrade, etc.etc.
As more people have been the body of evidence has increased and a number of things have become much more certain including:
The after figures are accurate and you get a well fuelled bike
Insurance isn't a problem and warranty claims have been settled
Dealers can't see the software and upgrades don't affect it
Engines have done good mileages with no issues
And probably the most important bit is that by far and away the biggest majority of people who have been are extremely satisfied with the results. There are a couple of folk who weren't happy ( and made a lot of noise on this forum) but they are very much in the minority and Geoff also offers a full refund if you're not satisfied.
The real test of any business providing a service is the feedback from its customers and Hilltop score very highly in this regard, which is why they get so much repeat business.
So there you go, you pays your money and you makes your choice. You could of course easily blow the same amount of dosh on various bits of bolt in shite
