Honda Blackbird

Nearly finished and should be ready for first MOT since 2009, have just repaired secondary master cylinder which was all gummed up and locking up the back wheel, just need to bleed the brakes and make sure all ok 👍🏻

Nice one Howard. Did you fit those "crash bungs"? I'd get rid if I was you as all they do if you err "lay it down😉" is fukk the nose cone up.
Are they the original fasteners? Adam down Worcester way does a full replacement set in stainless at a decent price including the dimpled washers for the rear cowl luggage bolts.
Looking good 👍

Simply brilliant, love the thread, sorry to hear about your friend passing Howard.

Hiya Tim, The fasteners are all originals, just polished up a bit. The crash bungs are brass which I obtained from 1200 Pete around 20 odd years ago 😂 interesting about the stainless ones available 👍🏻 catch up soon mate.

👍 To stop the fasteners from tarnishing/dulling, which they will do more so now they've been polished for the nth time try some clear nail varnish on them.
Alternatively, treat your 'Bird to a new set; she's worth it.
