Hot Airheads - Your PHOTOS please

It certainly is..:thumb:thumb

Its a beauty..:beerjug:

thanks for the praise...

yes i did ride the bike for a week in the mountain from the UK to the Alps and back...

full ride report & pics are here:

http://bmwrideruk.webs.com/2008austriamopslars.htm

it was a lovely trip and i did get ask a view times if i had ridden the bike to the top of each pass ??? what a strange question - How else would i have got it there???

The bike performs perfectly...only the weak brakes are a bit to get used to...
but we did have fun outrunning some fellow german guys on their jap 600 supersports in the tight hairpins!!!

Another highlight was: blasting past some fully loaded 12er GS's on the gravel section of the umbrail pass with the rear wheels spinning in 3rd! almost like on a speedway track...you should have seen their faces....

anyway... i shall keep riding her and looking after the bike,...

thx Lars

This was taken when we were touring France a while ago - sorry for spoiling the pic with an HP2 in the way ;-)

Continuing the theme, here's a combination I saw in Perth last year. Must have been in daily use as it was outside the same office quite a few days.

I was hunting for some pics of a great G/S I saw in the Seychelles too but can't find them.

This is my first post since selling my 1150 at the end of 2005 - had to register again. Saw a Basic on eBay and came on here to see if it was a known bike. Now I want an airhead. It's all your fault.

How about this old Zundapp I saw in spain last year - don't know much about it - it just caught my eye, being an airhead

I like this a lot.

Pinched from Advrider and owned by a Mnsty

It started out as a 100RS. Beautiful build quality and a great looking bike

mmmmmmmm

Just been flicking back through this thread and found I'd missed this little beauty posted by Rob..

Looking at the arm it doesn't look extended like so many of the other bikes.. does that mean the forks have been shortened? Or are DR forks about the right length?
