Am installing a machine in Turriff at the end of March, so will be needing a hotel for a couple of weeks.

I have found 3 hotels so far

White Heather Hotel
Union Hotel
Fife Arms Hotel

Just wondered if anyone could advise me on which hotel to use (any other hotels also).

Cheers in advance.

Turraloon probably knows of them (might even been banned from one/two/all?)

Would love to bring the bike, but I need the van for the tools, and the van won't carry the bike.

Will be up in May for a week on the bike doing the RBR.

Looking like the Fife Lodge is the winner up to now.

Stay at -

www.monydeen.co.uk Very nice B & B just 2 miles out of Turriff - highly regarded and only £27 Per double room at that time of year.

Which is £63 cheaper than The Fife which is £90 PR PN

Spose it depends on who's paying - you or company.

If you do stay at Monydeen, please tell them that Moira Morgans (of Anchorage Banff) son sent you.

Drop me a pm if you want a pint when your up - i'll show you the local talent :blast

Cheers for the info, work is paying for the room, but they are trying to get us to watch the pennies. I do normally go for hotels rather than B&B's, but the price of the Fife. Will be working at Kelman Engineering and will be there for about 3 weeks so should get plenty of time for a beer or 3:beerjug: Will let you know when I am due to start closer to the date..

You never said what kind of machine you were installing?

It's not a machine for injecting generosity in Aeberdonians, is it - m'loon? :nenau

The first people in Scotland to get double glazing were Aberdonians so that the bairns' couldnae hear the ice cream vans!
