Hotel recommendations please?

Wife's birthday on 19th April and I thought a Sat and Sun stay in a nice foodie hotel in Yorkshire
might fit the bill. If its somewhere with things to do as well so much better!

Will probably be in the car unless the weather gets much better.

Any suggestions please?

Three acres at Elmly is fantastic but then so is the crab and lobster at Thirsk

Try Millgate B&B in Masham - voted Tripadvisors best B&B in the world - 3 decent pubs with food, 2 breweries & a very good foodie restaurant too, all within 500 yards
