As promised an update from our recent tour of northern France a few weeks ago. Again purely subjective in my view but maybe useful to others:
Hostellerie Saint Louis, Bollezeele. About 50km due east of Calais in the small village of Bollezeele. Lovely little hotel with a great restaurant and menu. Again conveient as either first or last stop for those that want to be close the tunnel or ferry.
Highlight on the map shows the area of Bollezeele

Relais des Dalles, Sassetot-le-Mouconduit. About 16km up the coast from Fecamp this really is a little gem of a place to stay. Not the cheapest though. Rooms are a bit pricier than the average but the small restaurant is amazing. If you get stuck on a day the restaurant is closed you can hop across the road the the Chateau Sisi which has an amazing kitchen with very reasonable but excellent menu! Have done both in the past and can recommend both.

Chateau de la Rapee. A pleasant quirky 19 century chateau with nice rooms and a reasonable restaurant. Stayed a few times but on hindsight probably for future will avoid. Not because there is anything wrong but the menu is about 20% higher than what I would normally pay for a nice 3 course dinner. Location is superb at the end of a quiet country lane surrounded by horses and stables.

Chateau de la Motte. A lovely hotel with gorgeous rooms and set in lovely grounds with a lake. Restaurant is less attractive with the food being a bit less worthy of the blue rating set by Logis. In the small village of Leissies close the the Belgian border.
Nice but not worth a revisit for me.
