How cold?

No please, stop, you're killing me :jes

I've just looked outside and guess what? :nenau

There's some weather going on

It MUST be Climate Change

are you telling me the climate is not changing? Feck me it must be the only thing on planet earth that isn't changing? :blast

Fashions change, governments change, we change, the climate changes. The climate is changing. Always has, always will. It used to be warmer, it used to be colder. It appears that it's getting warmer on the whole. I don't personally give a stuff if we are contributing to it or if it is doing it all by itself. I'm not going to be around to see any potential negative outcomes because of it.

At least I am smart enough to recognise that something is changing instead of sticking my head in the snow outside and bleeting "huh what climate change?"

The global climate is a complex beast and within that system there are some known patterns that happen either all the time or on a 5, 10, 20, 50 year cycle. The North Atlantic Oscillation, El Nino and La Nina are known phenomenon. Ask the Fishermen in Peru about El Nino when their fish stocks completely disappear to follow the warm water heading west.

All the years that the UK has had harsh winters were El Nino years. Funny coincidence that, which incidentally had feck all to do with climate change. It's as certain as the sun rising each day and warming your butt cheeks as your arse sticks in the air because your head is stuck in the sand/snow/mud

We had -22C last night, and my F650 Dakar needed an extra dose of power from a friendly neighbour before it started. It ran without a hitch afterwards, but will need a power topup from the charger next time it's used.

As usual the Trelleborg Army Special studded tires worked well. The rubber compound remains flexible and grips from good to adequately - depending on throttle setting and ice factors.

Brief breakdown for you.
The hotter it gets, the more water vapour is produced. :eek
Causing more weather,

Finally someone that understands the thermohaline effect :thumb

are you telling me the climate is not changing? Feck me it must be the only thing on planet earth that isn't changing? :blast

You just don't read my posts or yours very well do you? :comfort

First of all you have the original quote in this post which contains the fantastic sentence 'Causing more weather' :D

Then you jump in with your 'thermohaline' quote based on it causing more 'weather' :D :D

The weather is what is outside the door every day. It isn't the climate and it's not the subject of the great debate. It is just 'the weather'. :blast

Nice pic of the big freeze - yesterday
