If you want send it to me and I will try with my fully blown Flash MX, alternatively you could download the thirty day trial version and try yerself..(if they still do that, don't know the new version but MX is well past its sell by date, but suits me fine)

As I said in the beginning though swf files are normally small, due to vectors. But maybe your file is not vectors...

setup up a youtube page but make it private viewing only if the stuff your doing is abit

size limits are 100MB or 10 minutes if you cheat the com[pression you can out 1 hour long programs up if that's your bag...

but you still need to convert to wmv or quick time to allow it to be uploaded to the site it'll turn it into flv. for you.....

I dreamt the answer last night.

take the output from your PC Screen and audio via a video card and record the animation as a piece of video onto Mini DV or similar. Recapture the recorded video and turn it into a smaller file using for example windows movie maker type software.

bada bing bada bong...

it's a smaller file you can throw on Youtube.

the quality will be average to rough I guess but you need to test it to see if it meets the criteria.

or as I said you need to get server space here Jing does look like rather good bit of gear for teaching simple tasks.

Wonder what I can use it for.

i've reached my bandwidth limit for this month... guess what... they sent me the option of buying more
