How far on a 1150 gsa till refuel

210 max, and that's 20 miles into no bars on gauge.

I only manage to get 27 litres in on a standard fill as well so I spose there's a bit more to go if I needed it....

75% of my riding at the moment is three figure three carriageway stuff though so that really knocks the MPG

1150ADV with the fuel filler neck drilled. Once got 31 ltrs into it.

270miles commuting average (motorway/A-road + city)
300-310 miles when bimbiling.

I got anywhere between 190 and 231 (personal record) on a standard GS.I was under the impression that you'd get at least another 100 with the ADV tank. I have done the 31Ltr tank swop and intend to take a spare petrol can on the back and run it dry to gauge the miles per tank. I have the standard internals on the ADV tank so need to find out how far I can get before refilling. I don't like guess work.

Have drilled the 1200gs & the 1100gs,1200 is no problem had 270 inc reserve with standard tank but if i fill the 1100 to the top it comes out of the overflow/breather pipe by your right foot (pain in the ass) is there a mod for that

The mod i did was to gaffer tape the over flow pipe to the top of the tank if the over flow/breather is higher than the cap it cant over flow . Im sure you could re route it & make it look nicer . Easy mod cheap & works
