After reading all the posts on mounting and powering up a 2610 ,I mounted it the same way as Cookie and also put a toggle switch in like Tommo
but i powered the unit direct from battery and used the inline fuse thats on power cable, the toggle switch allows me to turn off power when theres no gps fitted.The reason for powering the unit direct from battery is so i can use gps without ignition turned on or engine running ,I know i could have wired into accessory socket as my Autocom is but i have notice my Autocom loses power when i start the bike probably because camus is redirecting all the power in battery to the starter motor ...
