What BMW forgot to say in 2004 was that the FD was sealed for the life of the warranty not the bike

Change every 7500 miles? Why?

I concede I am a sunny weekend rider (for various reasons) and bike only has 17K on clock and I'm sure oil has never been changed. And it ain't leaking either. Must be one of the lucky ones.
