hp2 f/d rebuild

2hours later all done
also replaced the f/d pivot bearings
in 4 wks its back from morocco
then full service and power coating and new front end

Thinking of getting a R1200gs myself but all the FD failures are putting me off but if looks like you can repair them can you give me an idea of the cost thanks.

Why did You repair Your rear f/d? Did You have problem with bearings?

my 1200gsa didnt have any play but its done 32k and the new owner will be happy its all new inside
as for the hp2 it had 4 mm play and for the cost and its now my new bike 2hours later all done

skygod is not kind to his bike unlike my bikes

Further investigation of my HPs developing rear wheel play has led me away from the final drive and straight to these bearings.

Tricky to check for play here (with only one pair of hands) but replacements found to be needed

The trick is buy skygods bike after I fitted all the bearings
Spout going to order mst Monday
Then sort the front end and fit Wp enduro shock nx then ride the thing
Need to pick a colour
