As It says a big write up on the HP2 Megamoto in MCN today ,they seem to think it an expensive pointless exersize ,but it wheelies well!!

MCN today is an expensive pointless exersize, but they can do wheelies![]()

I noticed the front come up as I shifted into 4th this morning - admittedly it was a full throttle gear change with little finesse, I had an Almax in the tail bag and it was little more than topping the forks out but it made me laughhello all.
I got my akra full system fitted, the " powercommender"
is there too, and I have 113 HP and 126Nm torque
on the wheel, I still find it hard to wheelie the bike.
In 1 and 2 it can powerwheelie, but i still think I have
to go on the throttle quite hard to make it work.
Is the gearing lower on the MegaMoto ?, I am a complete
chicken, that needs to practice, or what ?
thanks
They suggested the HP2 was a white elephant, were they wrong?
I know exactly was it feels like to be in the same place as the first photo...bloody painful![]()
. KTM 950 Super Enduros riders had the same view as this pic probably had that feeling riding in the back of HP2s and never couldn't catch them
HP2s did over 175kph (110mph, offroad), it's over 100hp from the rear wheel, more than 110Nm of torque from the rear wheel, ridden by professional riders with full throttle and special racing knobbytires that kicks off far more rocks and dust than any consumer tyre you've ever ridden offroad from the rear side, far from it. I've done behind other bikes on gravel and gotten bruised etc, but at least I wouldn't wan to be behind the factory HP2s with professional riders

I have nothing but 100% respect for the factory riders who can use a HP2 to full effect on the dirt - It is the sort of bike that will get you into trouble very quickly if you are not paying attention - and that is on normal roadsDon't think you've really exacly ever felt it. Try wheelie workshop: http://www.chrispfeiffer.com/Portals/0/StaticPictures/e_wheelie.pdf
With 100+hp and Nm on the rear wheel it should do it on any gear if the engine is in the powerband![]()
