I tell you what, woud,nt it be easier if you could just weld a chunk of nice thick ally tube onto the middle of the r100 gs paralever , lengthen the drive shaft, lengthen the anchor bar , change the subframe to take the extra travel. piece of piss ! (why not ? )
I have no interest in the 1100 conversion. I have two of those pesky oilheads in the garage already.

To what purpose? .

I haven't heard any bad remarks about the upgraded Paralever driveshaft that's available for £300+ so the driveshaft issue should be sorted so if you fit one of those and a decent rear shock the Paralever can be sorted out for a fraction of the price it's going to cost to build a special.

Did you mention a Tenner Rob ?![]()
Ah, but where is the fun in that!?! By the way... how many bikes have you brought back from the dead and built? Half of your threads are the bloody reason I started looking at Richie's stuff in the first place!![]()

Shes aware that items were purchased but lets just say I may have been economical with the truth over the actual amount![]()

I think she bought some lacy knickers with that!![]()

Nope! But there is a free Acerbis high mudguard if you want it.

) fan as well
I messed about with an 1100 rear end in a project bike a couple of years ago.
Apart from the gearbox adapter at 300 Euros there were two main stumbling blocks:- The top shock mount and rear wheel offset everything else was pretty much just a bolt on with a few minor parts to be made.
The rear wheel offset was the biggie
