Injector Cleaning

Hi all,

Any of you tryed cleaning the injectors at the local shop with ultrasound? Or adding some cleaning agents into gas when fueling? Is there any difference?

I have heard of people removing the injector from the bike, applying 12 volts to its terminals and then giving it a flush through with aerosol carburettor cleaner, apparently theres a little filter in there which can get dirty, I recently found a suitable connector in my garage to make up a power lead to try this.

half a can of FORTE injector cleaner in a tank of fuel does the job just fine

Cleaning shops usualy replace that filter and remove dirt from injector walls with ultrasound.

Gas here in Romania is usually 20% water, 5% H2O and the rest gasoline

Do you mean 5%oxygen o2?
