I just renewed my 02 1150 GS today for the grand total of £78;33 fully comp with no claims protection! :clap That was with Bennetts too. I was chuffed with that and it got me wondering how much other people paid? I'm "only" 41 so you old duffers :rob must be getting it for next to nothing!

I'm £105 with MCE fully comp, protected etc usual.:(
So I'll be looking about come renewal time. I'm 56 with 5 years no claims.

I would add. Be careful with the price comparison search engines.

I checked with the usual 3 and all had quotes from bennetts, MCE and the likes.

Bennetts on one (for me) £110....Another search engine Bennetts £165.

And yes it was like for like.

£16 a month with ebike, so that's £182 a year. I've had a theft claim in the last five though, so that counts against me.

The biggest reduction in insurance costs was a change in postcode tbh.

merseyside....Argh!

I payed £212 for an 09 1200gs/a fully comp , age 43 , 7 years no claims(max)got more but nobody takes it , when i moved from gloucester my car and bike insurances leapt up by over 50%.....wonder why!

£182 this year for a multi bike policy (1150GSA and 650 Pegaso). Full no claims and a youngish 35. Seemed pretty good to me.

Just renewed last week. Should have been £128 but told them I'd changed jobs and that put it up to £240ish. With Bennetts, cheapest and they'll let me have a second set of alloys with road tyres on them at no extra charge, everyone else wanted at least an extra £150 to add the wheels.

44, Fully comp, 1 year NCB, clean license, garaged overnight r1150gs, yr 2000 valued at £3k.

41 years --8 years no claim £130(ish) but they said another £40 if i wanted 3rd party on any other bike (i declined this) ----looks like I was ripped off
