Hi, hope someone has this tucked away in the back of their mind.
2005 R1200GS c/w servo brakes.

I want to bleed these and understand that I need to have a funnel of fresh fluid screwed into the abs/servo unit. I have a funnel but need to fashion some kind of plug to create a seal and support the funnel.

One option is to bore out an appropriate hole in the standard plug or find a similar plug to do the same.
Question , what are the thread details, diameter and pitch etc.

or

Does amyone have a plug lying around - perhaps you have one following a servo-ectomy???

Any help welcomed, thanks

I used a #2 rubber plug, drilled it out and stuck a funnel in it. Worked OK yesterday, just make sure to push/twist it in tightly.

At the same time I measured the plug:

17.5mm major/outer diameter
15.5mm minor/inner diameter
2.5mm thread pitch

For next time I'll see if I can find a plastic bottle with that thread, cut it open, and maybe use an O-ring or some plumbers tape if needed.

Thanks Siggi, some new info for me there, will try the home-brew winemakers shops for some bungs - will need to be careful not to chew off some bung material, don't suppose the abs /servos would like it!!
Thanks for the thread details, will also try our plumbers merchants, thanks again.

didn't bother using a funnel. Just did a couple of brake applications then stopped and topped up the reservoir. Sometimes jobs can be overcomplicated for no good reason.
