intermittent indicators

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't ?

I've been all through the wiring and the manuals

but they're still the same

Try closing your eyes just before the indicators got out and opening them again just as they open - hey presto - your indicators will appear to be on all the time.
No wiring diagrams required !
