Internet problems

Help , when I turn my computer off after i have been on the internet everything is normal . But when I turn the computer back on the only way I can get the internet back on is to restore the computer at least 2 days before,which can take up 2 hours to restore can anybody throw any light on this problem.....Cheers Mel

Which operating system?

Are you using an Administrator account?

Have you run a full system virus scan?

Are you running McAfee or Symantec Internet Suite or similar and have recently seen messages about your subscription expiring?

Are you running the standard Windows Firewall or a 3rd party one?

I found this by searching using google, I typed "Internet connection requires system restore" (minus quotes). Often you can do searches like this and find solutions. You can alter the wording to get other possible solutions too. Sometimes you get nothing but if the problem has been experienced by someone else they often put the answer in a forum.

Is it a BT line or Virgin?RU using a router or is the PC providing the authentication?

Dont think that is the internet connection 2 other computers run fine of the same connection Cheers Mel
