shame

It's a shame we can't trust "dealers" these days...

Good luck with finding a bike... It's well worth searching till you find one that you are 100% happy with!

the RAC was doing HPI checks for a fiver earlier in the year! at that price you can't afford not to...

Im not put off by recorded damage, hell i positively seek them out! HELLLOOO CHEAP BIKE!

Like my Cat D Gs - £1400 purchase for the bike - ive since spent another £500 but now have all the goodies! So £1900 for a fully specd 1150 with 30k on it. Yes please. Im happy to save almost 2 grand :) And with a cat d bike already being reduced in price, the depreciation is also reduced.

Remember that a bike or car can be writted off for stuff thats seriously dumb... like a scratch! So dont be too put off by them.

As was pointed out ...

... in an earlier post, Russell and Beemer Bikes do deal primarily in write-offs and rebuilds, largely for the London despatch trade. Their bikes are priced accordingly so it's more then a little unfair to label them as 'Dodgy'. I can recommend them for cheap 'used' parts :nenau

My bike was a stolen recovered Cat D - solely due to not being found until after the insurance had paid out. didn't put me off buying it one jot. :thumb

It's a keeper so depreciation isn't an issue.

its amazing how much cheaper they are like that isnt it tony. Seems we both saved some cash! :)
