There was a thread the other day that said the Plymouth to Spain had been diverted to a French Port for repairs. Sorry I can't remember the ports involved but this could be why there is no Cork ferry.
I went last September with no cabin.
The sleeping area gets bloody cold at night. Make sure you have something warm after you leave the car deck.
There were plenty sleeping in the lounges where it was warmer. Need to get a space early though.
At least the roads will be quiet on the Sunday.

Of course, you do know that you'll be a bit OCD checking the back wheel for the first few days.
I've just seen that cancellations were due to a technical fault with the propeller shaft, and a few other crossings are affected too.

Pont Aven has been parked up in a dry dock in Brest for the last two weeks. 11 of us are booked on it for the 22nd, currently working on a plan B 1000 mile detour through the tunnel just in case
