Droopy Dick said:And someone has mentioned Chandlers Ford near Southampton on an out-of-town trading estate site.

(
Portsmouth yamaha shop is still empty and that would make a great bmw shopPukmeister said:That would be ideal at Chandlers Ford, close to the South Coast yet accessible via A34/M3 and A303 or A272/A31.
Nice bit of twisties and roundabout surfing to Winchester on the old A272 then down to the new dealership ?? .....lets hope so.
Portsmouth Yamaha's old site has a tiny workshop despite its ample sales floor, always the bane of SPC which needed more space for servicing and parts.
Access into Pompey or Soton is always a pain especially during a home game on Saturdays so lets hope Chandlers Ford is the location of choice.

anyone mad enough though?
you do ride a bike dont you??Droopy Dick said:No, it wouldn't.
The workshop is too small.
And it's a pig to get to, especially if Portsmouth are playing at home.
) and they had a pretty roomy workshop, albeit with crap side access. That was never the case when i booked my bike in for a service, it would be booked in for a specific time, and was always in the workshop no later than 1/2 an hour after that time.Pukmeister said:There was enough hassle with SPC and the hordes of BMWs that would inevitably be queued up outside waiting for a service, some of which sat there all day whilst their customers drank the place dry of coffee until closing time() and they had a pretty roomy workshop, albeit with crap side access.
