Isle of Man

A couple of friends have just returned fro a trail riding holiday, poor weather and many of the mountain trails were blocked by massive snow drifts
(12/4/13)

Just crossed to Dublin this morning. The fast cat was cancelled, so they bumped me to the normal boat. Choppy, but not too bad. Gusty wind means you need to take care on the bike though. :thumby:

:beerjug:Well got here ok but weather been dire just too wet and hell the wind has been BAD ferries cancelled today dryer but windy tomorrow :beerjug:

Yes

:beerjug:PS anyone over for TT ?

Arriving on the 22nd of May & departing on the 13th of June.:Motomartin

And, across on the 25th to 29th of this month for a spot of Motogoloco.com research :thumby:

All the best, Jim.

I'm coming to the TT...

Coming across on 31st May until following Friday night. Which bike are you taking, Jim?
My mate Bob is getting a presentation from the tourist board (ssshhhh, he doesn't know... :thumb) to recognise his achievement of 50 consecutive years going to the TT. He was 70 yrs old yesterday & still rides a GSXR1000  but has seen my GS having fun & went & bought himself one last year.

Coming over for the TT from Australia and being loaned a Ducati by a very generous mate

First time on the Island since 78

Really looking forward to it

Mike

Not entirely sure as yet Paul - probably the Megamoto though, as I'd be reluctant to deprive a certain DT of his annual, "have you seen my MM, reported to be the best Megamoto in the UK?!", fun @ my expense.:comfort

And, as for Bob being honoured, he deserves it - both you & he guided me around my very first lap of the Mountain, (he deserved a medal for that alone!).

See you outside the Trevelyan early doors?

All the best, Jim.

M.A.S.H.

:beerjug:Tosser meet up sometime TT week, any ideas ?:beerjug:

MASH Cafe on the North Quay @ Douglas Harbour would suit me, loads of free safe bike parking during race week, and I'll be, "waiting on", outside practice & race days. (It also has some of the best coffee, cake, and meals on the island - cheaper too!).
