I've got a bug..

And it's pishing me off.

I've got super anti spyware loaded,and when I scan the system,it get's a couple of bugs, but then the slow running comes straight back.

Someone said to load AVG and see what that does, but when I google Avg, it brings up loads of sites to get it from, but as soon as you click on one, it brings up the "Internet explorer cannot display this page" sign. It's the same with any anti virus I try.

Answers on a postcard please, and remember, I'm a complete numpty with computers,so don't go off on one in another language.

If Internet Explorer can't get there then you really have a problem!

You could try a different web browser such as firefox

AVG works well for me too. When I needed additional protection I used Malwarebytes

But first I would use Crap Cleaner to clean up obsolete files, log files, caches, recycle bin.
(It also offers a Registry cleanup option which I do NOT recommend for novices)

An internet search will provide download links - I don't want to recommend any particular site.

Had a similar bug on an old computer, the Trojan in question blocked any attempts to download other anti-virus software, except MS security centre. That found the trojan (the file name spelt it troyan) and sorted it.

Getting it downloaded by a mate onto a memory stick, then start your computer in safe mode (reboot and hold down f8, I think) then install and run the AVG from the memory stick.

Vern...re-try the above, but do it in 'safe' mode, which does it before most nasties load up.

Reboot, press f8 as it starts loading windows and select 'start in safe mode' , then give it a go.

Sorry,I thought I replied to everyone who sent stuff,but none of it worked at all,it just wouln't let it be opened at all,even from a stick.In the end Boredrider took it and sorted it for me.

I think I might still be sending double/triple e-mails to people as well,but I have to wait untill someone winges about it before I'm sure.
