I seem to remember a while ago some discussion about the Jet Boil camping stuff - might have been Whatton?

Soooo, does anyone have any experiences good or bad with them?

Easy to use for boiling water.

Bit voilent with the milk though (I had a slight accident) :D

You can get them now with a pan attachment.

I've used mine twice... cooked Kraft Dinner in it last year... and cooked a can of stew in it at Llangollan... I found it heated very fast initially, and have me good control of the heat for the final bit... (no scorching of the stew or KD)

I have a bit of a stove collection, but this is my first gas stove and I'm impressed with it... (my best other stove is an MSR Dragonfly... very fast heater, very controllable heat...)

Al...

very good, but lost a boiling race with fanum's gaz stove a while back :(

not that i'd dwell on such things of course

nice and compact, eay to use, incredibly quick to come to boil........but out of the 5 i purchased (same as one pictured start of thread) 2 have gone back with faulty igniters......

Normally if it won't ignite it means that the contact pionts are too far apart. Took mine back the week I got it, and they looked at it in the shop and adjusted the igniter and never had a problem since
