Saw a flyer in MCN announcing an Open Day and "Sale with up to 70% off selected clothing". Travelled 60 miles to get there was totally underwhelmed by the experience. I own more bike clothing than they had on sale. Fine if you were an extreme size e.g very small or large as they had a few items. Totally rubbish selection of anything else. Demo ride outs were short & escorted. Didn't even get a burger a some fat b'std had eaten them all. Not worth the petrol going.

David, I have just travelled from Glasgow after being completely underwhelmed by sales staff at Motorrad Central who are my local dealers. After half an hour of waiting to see sales staff at John Clark I was given £700 more in PX and a BMW demonstrator for a couple of weeks until my new bike arrived. Totally agree John Clark don't have a great selection but I found that once I got a hold of a member of staff their service was excellent. Last GS was also serviced by them initially without any problems and a loan bike was always made available.

Travelled down to John Clark Aberdeen today to have a look at a K1200R as a second bike. I wandered round the bike showroom for 40 mins in my bike gear with the GS parked outside and was totally ignored. A salesman type walked in sat down at his desk and started reading some paperwork. Needless to say I left with my cheque book never to set foot in the place again.
