I have to say that the original and my chip can fitet to the main socket of ECU.
No needed additional socket!!.
It is an open unlocked chip, there is no locked on the hardware of chip.
Many bikers has on the bikes an additional socket, that is an aftermarket and locked chip for copyrigth of the work on remaping. This socket converts the data of chip. The chip standalone can not be copy to another (empty) chip, that's all.
That has a big problem. The comunication of CHIP and ecu is very very slow, also makes a confuse to ECU, so the chip gives bad results to the bike.
Here is a photo for a chip on additional socket :
If you see this additional socket, that means that the chip is not the stock original, it is an aftermarket (bad) chip. I have all these chips (powerchips, superchips and more others), i was try and i see that there is not improvements to the bike, will give just a confuse to ECU.
Here is the unlocked chip wich fited on ecu :
So if you see an additional coscket in to ecu, that means that the chip is not the original but it is just an aftermarket chip, it is dangerus and must be replaced to an original or any other modified unlocked chip.
If you fit my chip on the additional socket will not work, the bike will not start, so no needed this socket, remove it and fit the chip in to the base socket of ecu and the bike will start correctly and will have great results after few (10-20) miles until load all improvement maps.
I made my chips unlocked, i do not care about copyright because i would like the communication CHIP and ECU will be faster and correct.
I try to management for low cost, so i believe that if someone biker need my chip, he just buy and not copy from another buyer. Also each chip for each bike is different for hardware setup of the bike.
There is diferent chip for free air filter, for de-cat or aftermarket system exhaust and for each year model.
