Sorry if this has been answered already, can't find it if it has. I've got several routes (part of a multi day trip) that I'd like to join as a single route. can this be done? Anyone know how?

best regards,

Martin

Where would I find said "join routes" tool

Found the join tracks tool, but it doesn't seem to work for routes

Open the file, R-click on the route name in the route tab on the left side, then Properties, Via points. You'll see a list of waypoints or via points in the route. L-click top of list, hold shift then L-click the last one (highlights all). Then use the copy icon in the tab to copy to the clipboard. Open file (or click the route) that you want to paste to, Properties, Via points, then paste the list into the 2nd route. You can paste it at any point by highlighting the via point where you want it to be inserted.

Be careful about making one huge multi-day route though - you're better off having multiple short routes. They can all be in one file, so you can load them in one hit.

Yeah - I've got them as multi day, but I wanted one overview route of the whole lot to calculate overall mileages and stuff, and to view on google earth as a single route.
I've got one file, with all the waypoints and all the routes.

It's a bit of a pain, the waypoints are only indexed alphabetically, so I've done a big route with all the waypoints re-ordered manually and saved that as a new file so I still have my existing daily routes.

If your routes are in one file they will all show together when you view in GE
