I've just noticed that I can't see any oil in the sight glass on the centre stand I know they burn oil when there new, do I just top it up cold on the centre stand or side stand, do I need to warm engine? Regards George.

Cold centre mate, although if you checked it recently and it's now empty look for a leak, maybe around filter ?

Cool, at risk of stating obvious keep an eye on it closely, if the burn rate is excessive then needs looking at

I use it out the fryer, that stuff that is white and solid when cold!
Easier to see it in the sight glass

Probably slipped thru the net a bit, the heading doesn't suggest its an oily one.

Have you had the first service? If not, the running in oil is very clear, and doesn't look like there is any in there.
