Bought this for instructing so that i only have to take my new Guzzi Breva out when the weather is fine.

See if you can find the original RT screen (cheap).

My own RT had the earlier type, the steeply raked one with a small deflector on the top. The bikes that I had at work had the same as the one you have and for me, the steeply raked one was far better although I know that some people found its proximity a bit off-putting.

I do love the old Two-Valve Boxers but the K-Series is as worthy of respect as any of the later mono-shock Boxers. Altogether they were far superior and probably easier to DIY (as I'm finding out).

Yep, I like Turraloon. Im very pro-K series at the moment having just re-aquainting myself with a brick (see other thread).

You must get that reg plate put on straight tho

great bikes. have done 6000 miles on mine since i got it in nov. get your feet in the right place and they stay warm even when its freezing and they do near 60mpg . only problem so far is the disks have warped oh and the mirrors pop off with the slightest kiss of a transit wing mirror

Nice bike, my first ' proper bike ' was a 89 K100 rs, which I wished I had never sold !
I continually look at modern bikes but just can't bring myself to part with loads of dosh to buy one ( yes I have been described has tight ).
Must admit I have been looking at K's lately and if the right tidy bike at the right price comes along I know I am going to buy it !!
