My mate has taken delivery of a 2015 spec GS with the keyless ignition. Looks very neat but the problem is that only one key with transponder was issued apart from the back-up plastic key. Now given that there can be a time when the key gets lost or the battery goes flat how the hell are you going to start the bike with no normal keyhole? Is there a trick to the thing to start it with the key and not the transponder. He has asked the question and the lads at the dealership has no answer. He hasn't read the manual either
but as far as we can tell after a look around the bike is that the only thing the plastic back-up key is worth for is by opening the boxes or taking the seat off. Is there some tosser out there who has figured it out?
Must say his bike looks really good with the white plastics and black engine.
