Keyless ride - key battery

Anyone replaced this, wanted to know what battery it needs, mine is show a low battery message.

Can't you just open the battery compartment in the fob and take the battery out to see which one?

you can get a pack of 6 from Ebay/Amazon for around a quid - I've stuck one under my seat with the manual

From personal experience ( im a car mechanic) I find the cheapie batteries don't last too well I always use panasonic

these are branded Panasonic - which is what BMW fit. Of course, they may not be genuine...
