………..one final comment on Chinese shite. Many on here are hypocrites cause they have £60k+ of quality bikes in their garage and selectively clamber to the “high moral ground” with a lot of this cheap stuff to show they’re ’slumming it’ with the rest of us.
Conversely, many guys on here can only afford or are allowed one bike - so I think the Chinese pimps should consider this before promoting the damn things too much?!
PS. They could lead by example though and sell all their high ticket stuff and exclusively ride one of these beauties!!

Lots the parts on it come from China I guess - probably the BMW roundel on the tank is made in China

I probably ride the last BMW GSA that was actually made with European sourced parts and in-house machining, in the factory in Berlin Spandau

Hardly . I’ve got 3 bikes . I’ll buy a bike because I like it . Not bothered about the badge though I try to stick with brands that have a local dealer .
Won’t ever buy another Harley as it was pretty shite out of the box . A bike costing £25K ish shouldn’t require you to change the suspension, seats and tune the engine to make it perform how it should have out of the crate . If Indian can do it , why not HD ?
And I can’t see myself ever buying another BMW due to the increasing price and falling reliability/desirability.

I’m quite likely to buy a Chinese bike in the next few years . But who knows .

But I do know that we had more fun pissing about on small capacity bikes in the Picos than we did on our bigger bikes on our previous trip to Germany/Austria.
But the Brits will be the last to embrace new stuff .

Same as many slag off big scouts whilst mainland Europe embrace them .

I’ve actually been in a Chinese factory 15 years ago and was horrified. I worked for a big Japanese company that had their stuff manufactured there. It was like the Russian front line for my Japanese superiors……….and they only got sent there if they were very naughty boys?! lol
The Jap in charge was removed from New York for interfering with teenage boys!!
