The Wirral - where the nice people live... Or Vanu
For the first time my wife has agreed to come on the bike tomorrow - which "may" be good... should slow me down a bit...

Problem- I don't have a helmet for her (no jokes please)...

I live on the Wirral
Where is open tomorrow for a cheap (but safe) lid for her?

The deal is I take her out - she buys me dinner - so fairs fair :) :beerjug:

Hein gericke? Usually a good selection, not sure whether cheap but likely to be safe.:thumb

Need to get there and then buy it - get back and give it to her :)

Anywhere on the Wirral open - any West Cheshire shops :ChrisKelly

Don't ya need her there to try it on ? make sure it fits :augie

I do suspect I will buy it - it'll be worn once - sat in garage for rest of life - fit is unlikely to make any difference....:eek

It'll make a whole lot of difference if you have an off and the helmets too big :eek

helmet

Got the misses a white tour x £150 to your door from george white only in xs though

I assume you`re sorted now but you could have gone to Marriotts in Oxton Road in Birkenhead for a good selection.....or even the smaller places like RM Motorcycles,or SRT,or Mike Hose,or Wallasey Motorcycles,or even Lidl/Aldi who still had some helmets at the end of last week.

Are you new to the Wirral and don`t know all the Dealers ???

New to biking ...

Passed last year after messing about on dirt bikes for years as a kid...

Never ridden on road till last September and my dad decided to sell his bike - so I passed and bought his K1200S from him...

It's a big bike for a new guy... but as an ex-prop - I didn't think a 600 frame suited my errrr physique... the bigger frame felt comfy and I had always liked the look of the bigger BMW bikes over the years rather than the sports bikes my mates had.

I wil have to have a root around marriots - I used to have a company just round the corner till a few years ago

Righto...good on ya by the way. :beerjug:

If you`re stuck for owt local by all means post in on here but don`t be shy of sending me a PM too....I`m fairly matey with most of the Dealers and accessory places...as well as a few engineering and paint places. :thumb2

Cheers for that :)

Obviously won't be doing a lot of offroad on a K12S :pullface (that could be literally fatal) but you guys are a font of knowledge so after lurking a bit - I thought I'd subscribe:)

Just need a gpx of my euro trip as a starter now :D
