I have been getting the "Lampr" warning light intermittently over the last couple of days. If a bulb in the rear was gone.......would it not stay gone???

Is this a common thing?

Not if the filament connects occasionally

Its a good idea to strip those tail lamps out and ACF50 the insides

Corrosion can also affect the Bulb monitor

They look ok. There's so much crap on the market these days that I would be afraid that they would fail or that the led's wouldn't be bright enough.
I see there's another crowd selling something similar or maybe it's the same thing, that's made in India.
Might be worth trying a breaker for an original BMW led unit. Couldn't be much different in cost?
Don't forget that you'll need resistors to make it work with the canbus system.
Or you could just do what Jay has suggested and clean your own unit...

The connection to the rear lights corrodes over time as all the shit from the rear wheel hits it.

It's an easy job to take the rear light off, have a look and replace if necessary.

Thanks lads. Will try and have a look at it later.
