Were you there ? Why didnt you ask him yourself ?

Everyone suffers from a momentary lapse of concentration!

As for Aerostich ... I have had one since I was a kid .. we are taught the art of getting in and out of an aerostich in kindergarden. Have you not seen the instuctional video on the website ... it is demonstrated by an oriental fella. We have the Zen for it!

But I must say ... I look rather dapper on the bike ... :D

It lifts the whole image of the GS thing to another level really :D

Talking about lifting ... I still can't get the bloody thing on its centre stand.

Nearly gave myself a hernia trying to do it this afternoon :(

So now it sits on its side stand

You'll get the hang of it...

There's a knack to getting it up on the C-stand Tom.....it's a sort of weight transfer to right foot whilst pushing down on the floor with the left and hoiking upwards on the frame by your right knee whilst holding the left bar grip and pulling back slightly........

You'll get it pretty quick, and it is worth doing to stop the boxer smoky start up and so you can check the oil level properly ;)

Good to see you on a bike at long last........and I've passed on to Steve that you'll be doing the Chinese gymnast aerostich act on stage at the Hograost for the amusement of all.....we'll have a whip round and get you a tenner for every second under target if you'll stump up a drink for all of us for every second over target ;)

I tried that ... somehow the 1200's stand is further back and I can't get the balance right. was never a problem with the 1150 even when full laden with luggage :(

I was standing on the stand ... and it still won't shift. On the 1150 ... it was step and up ... easy.

I think mine must have been a Friday bike :D ... they certainly don't make them like they used to.

The secret to getting a bike on the centre stand is pushing down with yer foot on the stand 'lug' with your weight not lifting the bl@@dy thing!!!

SO start eating, a few stone more and hey presto!!!
