LCD Stopped Working

Had the bike into the dealership for another issue - on the way over there I completely lost the LCD display - all power to the idiot lights is there but no display at all? Has anyone come across anything similar?

Not similar as such but a few years ago I had some trouble with the trip resetting itself the average mpg and speed resetting every time I turned off the ignition,
After taking the headlight off and removing the Speedo I put it all back together and it hasn't done it again since, could have just been a bad connection in the plug I think,

I failed to reconnect the plug fully beneath the RID (display) once with similar. Maybe you just have a loose connector ??
