Fitted mine over the last few days. Easy to fit and realy looks good. fitted mine with a clear rear lens added a rear reflecter. Superb job by Techno.

Just fitted the tail light, fitted in minutes. Instructions clear and easy. Workmanship is brilliant and it compliments my indicator leds perfectly!! Top Job Rob!!!

I would be very interested if you couild come up with some form of

have a "Daylight " type marker light which stands out considerably more
than the normal driving light. Is this possible to have made for a 1200 GS

Doubt I will be doing the rear for the 1200 as BMW do one already on their new 1200, but I might get round to it. I have had an offer of a 1200 to work on so it is a possibility - especially if demand is high.

As for the marker lights, I think you mean something like my white front inserts in the indicators.

My planned progression for the LEDs is

1. Rear light for R11xxGS = done
2. Indicator inserts for R11xxGS (orange LEDs and red/white markers) = in progress
3. R1200/F800GS indicators inserts (orange LEDs and red/white markers) = not started.

Top tip ...

... for fitting these little beauts is to slightly 'cone' the reflector legs with a pencil sharpener, makes them much easier to fit

I doubt if it'll stop myopic bastards running into the back of you, but they are definitely brighter and positively Bling, thanks very much

So what do you get?

Firsly the rear light. What it is and what do you get for your money?

:sunshineA high quality professionally made board designed and assembled by me
:sunshineThe number plate illumination is done by two pairs of white LEDs so if one fails (unlikely) you have some illumination.
:sunshineThe 32 RED LEDs are arranged in 8 sets of 4 and if one LED fails then you loose only 4 meaning you always have rear illumination.
:sunshineThe panel fits 1100GS, 1150GS and 1150GSA with or without ABS and with or without IBS.
:sunshineMeets with SAE/ECE/JIS automotive colour requirements.
:sunshineThe is a jumper to bypass the IBS circuitry if you don't use it.
:sunshineConnector to allow my LED indicator inserts to act as switchable FOG lights without upsetting the brake function of the main light. Max load 1A.

Vern told me these used to be made on here (before my time) as 'wide tails'.
They are the same idea and you get;

:sunshineA pair of boards in either RED for rear or WHITE for the front.
:sunshineSticky pads to fix them to the indicator housing.
:sunshineFour 4.8mm piggyback connectors to connect them to the tail and brake light.
:sunshineCable ties.
:sunshineA 1A diode in case you don't have my tail board above and want to use them as FOGs.
:sunshineSome spare sticky pads in case you want to take them out.
:sunshineSome PVC sleeving to protect the wires.
:sunshineFull instructions and support if you get in a pickle.
:sunshineDoes not interfere or upset ABS or IBS.
:sunshineFits all bikes with indicators like the 11XXGS/A.
:sunshineLooks better behind clear lenses, but OK through amber.

Non IBS version available for less £££'s

I will now be offering the panel for use on bike without IBS for a reduced cost just like NippyNorman does.

This is exactly the same board just without the big resistor, so if you upgrade/swap bikes you can add the resistor yourself if needed (or send it to me and I will do it for a fee).

The board will be £45 including recorded delivery. Only order it if you are sure you don't have IBS though.

All the boards will fit R850R and 1100GS and 1150GS/A models. Look at the pictures in the thread and if your tail light and indicators look the same it is OK.

Excellent piece of kit, thanks Rob. Received this morning, fitted in about 15 minutes, looks great and the ever so annoying general warning light now goes out and stays out - well worth it just for that.

Build quality on the board is great, fully recommended.

Got around to fitting my rear light and indicator units at the weekend. What excellent pieces of kit, thanks very much Rob.

Took about 30 minutes to fit the lot and the result is excellent, they look great, the build quality on the boards is great and the instruction are clear and straight forward, highly recommended.

Arrived in post today fast service nice professional product instructions clear easy to follow and easy to fit. I found silicone grease helped sild it on the plastic pins worked for me
