I had several MESH PCs in a row.....always pretty good value and good for reliabilty.....In fact I still have several parts from at least one of them in the machine I'm on now
The other budget but quality brand I've used a few times is
MEDION
I don't know if they still do them, but they used to be sold through Aldi

(I also have three Medion external hard drives sitting quietly on my desk here still performing well after at least 7 or 8 years)
I bought the first two MESH Pcs through Tesco
Aldi and Tesco....both huge buyers.....My logic is that if they go to a company like MESH or MEDION and are able to buy 20 thousand PCs, they will get a rather large discount or a much better spec for the money, so why not tag on to that
Ignore any software packages that are 'free' or 'bundled with'.......go for bang for bucks, an up to date MoBo that will accept the latest Gphx cars and offer as much RAM space as possible for the future.......Personally I'd also go for a barebones system with no KB, Mouse or Monitor, Or in fact an OS, but that's just me
