just joined (even after all the slagging you seem to give each other!) and wanted to say that, partly thanks to sites such as this, and partly thanks to Ewan n Charley, am looking at getting back onto a bike, in particular a nice big GS.
Only one stumbling block as I see it - the bank account (and she who monitors it mercilessly). Have only been off 2 wheels for 18 months but realise once more how damn cool they are and how you can miss biking: its like you've had a limb removed and not bothered to reattach it.
Another thing (says whilst ducking), I've only had Jap bikes up to this point, mainly Hondas. There, said it.

Like you I have been off two wheels, not quite as long though. I had an RT till June and decided to sell it, what a mistake
