My 1300 GS, 3k miles, ex demo, has a very uneven idle. Is this normal ?

May be running lean.....but unlikely given the sophistication of BMW electronics......worth a check at the dealers, simple plug-in and read on the computer.
Some years back I had the same problem and the dealer discovered the bike had the American fuel chip which ran lean to comply with USA regs
