As you will have read elsewhere on this Forum, we had a rideout today for a lovely lady called Lynn who has cancer.
Her good friend Roz asked if we could arrange a run out and we did - who could resist
We had an excellent turnout of 10 bikes, with riders from Peterhead, Kirckaldy, Leven, Findhorn, Carrbridge, Dingwall, Farr and Inverness.
We had:
Davie
Tony
Jimmy
Ivan
Dave
John
Ian
John
Lewis
Sam
Here is Lynn at the start sitting on Davies Trike (top man - made the day for Lynn)
and here's Lynn and Roz just before the run
So we set off in Glorious sunshine (unbelievable after Fridays rain) and took the main A96 to Nairn, as there was a hard frost overnight and the back road could still have been frosty.
A leisurely run into Nairn, then out to Broadley Garden Centre, where we were well looked after by the staff.
The owner took some photo's for us after we'd had our coffee
and here's a photo showing Roz, Lynn, and Martin (Lynn's husband) - (and of course "Davie the Trike") looking very happy
And we gave Lynn some flowers and a box of sweets for when she's got her feet up tonight
And despite my telling them they weren't allowed to, Martin and Lynn treated us to Beer

So perhaps you could use this thread to send any good wishes to Lynn and family and friends....... and I'll make sure they get to see it.
If I get any more pictures I'll add them.
And here's a final picture of the two very good friends...
