I admit it - I was playing. Which I shouldn't have been, coz I'm cream-crackered.

Well, sort of. I downloaded a couple of widgets from .mac, and wanted to get rid of some others.

Problem - i don't have the "manage widgets" option (per Mac help) anywhere on dashboard. Am I missing somthing simple here?

Problem 2. I managed to drap the dashboard icon onto the desktop by mistake, and it went "poof" and disappeared. How do I get it back (I know F12 does the job, but now it's annoying me...)

Thanks all.

If you just want to turn some of the Widjets off click the plus icon that appears inthe bottom left of the screen when in dashboard, this allows you to turn on and switch off any widgets you have. I think there is also a widget manager in the menu that pops up (though I might have downloaded this at some point)
