I was sat in the Tea shack this afternoon when I rather large chap came in who had a beard like the Husband in Rhoald Dahls "The Twits".... I got talk ing to him (very nice chap too) and found out he was into his BMW's and knows a wee chappie from St Andrews who rides a bright Yellow R1150GS.... It was none other than Gus with the beard as seen here.......... well what do you know.....!!!! I'll be auditing him tomorrow and asking what dirt he has on the Arcboutant.... it has to be done...

Hi Andy, - it's a small world sometimes eh? -used to meet Gus at the Antler Rally in Ardnamurchan every year, but I've missed the last two. - but I bumped into him in Shirlaws last year - I see his diet's still no workin' any better than mine

i'm hoping to do the Ant . this year. I understand the local yobo's are now find it fun to go round the campsite and drop all tents and throw away the pegs
So if you have one o' them geodesic thingys all will be well.

Should DEFINITELY be at the Antler this year. We've been almost every year for over thirty years but we've missed the last two due to bad planning of holiday dates, but this year looks good - so if you make it i'll let ye buy me a drink
