Mail from msnbc.com

I've installed outlook 2007 on my new PC.

It has a folder call 'unread mail' and every day I get about 100 emails (look like news stories) from msnbc.com

I didn't set up this folder, and delete these unwanted emails every day... which is a pain.

Any ideas? And why would there be an 'unread' mail box as well as an inbox?

They're probably subscribed RSS feeds, enabled when you installed.

Check under Tools > Account Settings > RSS Feeds and disable/delete them.
