Are there any maps for the 800GS ? ie for fitting aftermarket cans etc ?

The Power Commander won't really give too much more power, but it will significantly clean up the fuelling making it much much smoother and a better all round ride...
AFIK the later Power Commanders have a self optimising facility which means that they will always run on the best fuelling curve ...
I had mine fitted before the additional module was available - overall it would have cost the same as a dyno set-up...

If you're looking to altering the fuelling, have a look into the Dimsport Rapid Bike http://web.dimsport.com/rapidbike/rapidbikeindex.php I don't have one, but some of my friends do. Tons of features and you can take it with you to your next bike, just buy new harness.
thank for the info guys, bit wary of PC's. i was the 1st to have a mk5 fitted to a Tenere, £580 for 2bhp (not including shagged rear tyre)
Depends on how good the std fueling is, if its shite then you will notice the difference, if its there abouts then not worth the cost

Get your ECU remapped, just search posts Hilltop Motorcycles, more torque, more BHP , better fuel consumption and smoother bike to ride!
I just had my bike dyno'd at YPE in Edinburgh, and he reckons a power commander will really help the fuelling, as you said. It runs really lean in places and really rich in others, so overall it shouldn't change the fuel consumption, but should smooth things out. I hope I can get it sorted by next week, and report back soon after.
Incidentally my bike makes 82.51 HP at the back wheel, with an Arrow can and a Remus system, anyone else know what theirs is making?
