I have contacted Garmin with the following problem:
Since updating to City Navigator Europe NT 2009, I have noticed that when plotting a route on the PC, the middle of the cursor arrow has to be across the road, when using the route tool.
It is very annoying and easy to make a mistake. Would it not be more sensible to have the tip of the cursor arrow to mark the spot, as before?
They have replied as follows:
Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.
I am sorry to hear that you have been having issues with this, but I will be happy to help you. Are you using mapsource to create your routes? I have tried this here but haven?t experienced any of the problems that you have mentioned as the routing tool is identical no matter what mapping you are using. Are you able to send some screenshots of this at all please and an example of the routes you have tried inputting so I can look into this further for you?
If there is anything else I can help you with then please let me know.
Alternatively you can search for a solution here: http://www.garmin.com/support
Kind regards
