Has anyone got the complete measurements of these 2 screens please?
Height ,width & thickness.
Sensible opinions please of both screens?
Thanks.

I got the wundrlich ergo and all I can say is wow!!!!!! I am only 5'7" but now can ride upto 80 mph ish visor up and up to 90 with sunglasses. Probably lost around 5 mpg as it is a bit of a barn door but the increase in comfort is worth it. Also the bike feels more planted and larger. Mine measues (quick nip to garage)
500mm tall 550mm wide at the widest point narrowing to 400mm approx and the screen is 3.5mm thick. Mine is one of the early ones so has additional aluminium supports in it.

Rather than send dimensions I've got images of the Secdem (fitted) with the original placed over. Gives good representation of the difference. Check out the following link to Nippy Norman as he's using one of them.

There are a range of images of different angles I could send if you would like - let me have your e-mail address.

Overall the screen is a big improvement. The original was too small for me - I'm 6'2". It offers much more protection - I can ride visor up at 80, it looks much better (OK, that's personal taste), and it doesn't drum (as the original did). It is thicker and much more substantial. I've been using it since Oct '04 and done about 8,000 with it. Easy to fit, one of the best bits of customisation. Very pleased with it.

One other point - didn't affect fuel consumption, still get the same 50mpg+ for normal riding.

Hi,
I've bought a Wunderlich Xtremescreen last summer, and have ridden my R1200GS about 10000 km/6000 miles with it since then. I'm very pleased with the screen, because it's not too far off from original design; more important I like the ride, buffeting has stopped, though there's still some wind noise.
I testdrove both Ergo- and Xtremescreens at the factory, and did not like the Ergoscreen because of it's huge size and because I still had some buffeting. I know this sounds strange, but this was my experience, so the best tip for any screen is to test before buying.

Now for the size :
I'm about 181 cm/6 ft high. :)
Errr, the Xtremescreen :
highth is 46,5 cm/18.31 inch (measured from V-shape over headlamps)
width is about 58 cm/22.83 inch (at wings/broadest point)

I'll try to put a picture here later (can't access hostingpage now for some reason).

Well, this should do :

Cheers,
GSband
