I don't know if anyone here can help with this one - I've Emailed Meta, but got no reply yet (may have an extended Christmas break
)
I've got a Meta M357T alarm/immobiliser fitted to my Adv. I'm shipping the bike (crated) to Miami on Monday, and I need to disconnect the battery for 3-4 weeks whilst it's in transit.
Question is - how will the alarm react to this? I don't want to get to Miami and find that the thing has 'locked up' or something. Will it treat the disconnection of the battery as a theft attempt? Or am I talking bollox (that'd be a change
) and have nothing to worry about? Nothing on Meta's website or in the instruction manual mentions long term battery disconnection.....
