On order for fitment next Sat (UK)
I rang around a few places that said they weren't available to order yet and one even mentioned Anakee 3's were on back-order if I wanted those instead. You can order PR4's in a lot of 17 sizes on Ebay but there's hardly any trail sizes available so there's defo some supply issues out there. However, Mitcheldever are obviously in bed with the devil (or maybe they have early access - I know they fit a LOT of tyres) & say they'll take 3 days to get them in so I'll scoot over next weekend to get them fitted. Ace-1-bananna. The Anakee 3's currently fitted have very little left in them so perfect timing as far as I'm concerned.
They aren't cheap at £282 fitted and yes I could keep Anakee/Tourance/Trail Attacks to save some money and they'll cope with everything I throw at them, but after going to road tyres a few GS's back and living with less road noise and overall a better feel for my riding it's money well spent. If the PR4's hadn't still been available I'd probably would have gone for the Roadsmarts (1's not 2's) which I might try again when the PR4's are thru with as they were very good on my last GS (I think Plod tend to use them on the RT1200 road bikes).
I thank you.
